The Hotel Maverick is a 47,025-sf, four-story boutique teaching hotel with 60 keys. Construction included a ground-floor coffee shop, an exterior pool and spa, a fitness center, and a fourth-level restaurant with a rooftop terrace. The building structure consists of structural steel and metal stud framing, as well as a Geoloop tie-in for supplemental heat. The hotel is utilized by CMU's Hospitality Management program to provide students with hands-on hospitality and culinary training.
