Grand Junction, Colorado
The Colorado Mesa University Health Science project was a 54,744-sf renovation and expansion project on a site that was formerly occupied by Grand Junction's Community Hospital. Four portions of the old hospital were demolished and a 6,200-sf addition was constructed as a central hub to connect the different parts. The new building includes simulation laboratories, a medical technology lab, a radiology technology lab, classrooms, seminar rooms, indoor and outdoor student lounge spaces, and faculty spaces.
