The Paepcke Auditorium renovation consisted of upgrading the building envelope, significantly improving accessibility and improving performance capabilities. The auditorium was expanded and reconfigured to provide more accessible seating and access to the stage, increased audience capacity and improved acoustics and full theatrical lighting and controls. With all-new contemporary finishes, the building was designed to achieve a minimum of LEED Silver. Sustainable features included new roofing and fenestration, new mechanical and electrical systems, and a stream-fed geothermal pond that provides heating and cooling.
