Shandoka Apartments is a redevelopment project focused on preserving and expanding affordable housing for year-round residents in Telluride, CO. The project will renovate and expand the existing 23-unit, 62-bedroom complex into a 29-unit, 74-bedroom community. The phased renovation will minimize resident displacement and enhance livability with upgraded utilities, MEP systems, electric appliances, and new interior finishes. The design prioritizes accessibility, energy efficiency, and low-maintenance living, incorporating three accessible units (Type A) and an improved site plan with enhanced pedestrian access, drainage, and utility capacity.
