Colorado Mesa University, Wubben Hall

The Wubben Hall project was a renovation and expansion project that included a four-story, 35,000-sf addition and a 62,000-sf renovation to the existing building. Wubben Hall is home to the physics, mathematics, and science departments. Construction included new classrooms, research space, and lecture halls, as well as implementing sustainable technologies including a central geothermal pump station for the campus and a low-albedo roof. The renovation included refitting the building to be served by the new geothermal heating and cooling system, relocating and upgrading the electrical service, and modernizing existing classrooms and laboratories. This project is LEED Certified.
